This year’s Met Gala theme was centered around Camp: Notes on Fashion. One of the inspirations behind the theme, Susan Sontag’s “Notes on Camp,” describes it as “love of the unnatural: of artifice and exaggeration…style at the expense of content.” With Lady Gaga, Harry Styles, Serena Williams, Anna Wintour, and Alessandro Michele as co-chairs, the hype around “fashion’s biggest night” was enormous. Let’s see what this year entailed.

Kim Kardashian: Kim rocked this iconic, dewy look. That color couldn’t have looked better on her.

Zendaya: The whole Cinderella transformation with her fairy godmother was to die for. If anyone could pull off being a princess, it’s Zendaya.

Kendall & Kylie: These sisters served us some looks with their fluffy, bright dresses.

Cara Delevingne: This whole outfit was terrible and hideous. However, that’s exactly what Cara seemed to be going for in regards to the theme. So a win… we think?

Lady Gaga: Gaga is known for her bold red carpet looks, but her designer could have put more effort into making this gown go with the theme. However, her 20 minute costume change into 4 outfits was very camp.

Harry Styles: Honestly for being a co-chair, we expected more.

Jared Leto: Leto is serving some major Gucci in this gown. The look-a-like head was creepy but cool.

Lily Collins: This Priscilla Presley esque dress let Lily kill it this year.

Frank Ocean: Frank seemed to take a different approach to the theme by being ironic and satirical. This valet inspired look definitely stood out for being so casual.

Billy Porter: Porter sure knows how to make a grand entrance. He is incredibly extra which goes perfect for this occasion.

Ezra Miller: I guess you could say this outfit went with the theme, but the makeup made it straight up creepy.
