4,600-feet above sea level there is a mountain with an amazing 360 degree view of the Appalachian Mountains, where people from all over can come to find peace and joy. This place is called Max Patch Mountain.

In the 1800s, farmers came and cleared the whole mountain of trees for their cattle and sheep, allowing for the 360 degree view that we get to enjoy today. This attraction is very popular for picnics, family gatherings, bringing pets, or simply to watch sunrises/sunsets.

Although it is in North Carolina, it is only a two hour drive from right here in Farragut and only a 10 minute hike from the bottom to the top. Making this trip is well worth it and an unforgettable experience.
