Star Wars: The Last Jedi was released December 15th, 2017, as the eighth film in the series. Of the newest three movies, this has been one of the best. Though we prefer The Force Awakens over The Last Jedi, The Last Jedi has very small details that make the movie more impressive.

The producers and their team paid close attention to introducing new animals never seen in previous films and new planets similar to those in the original trilogy. One newer characteristic  of the films was comedy. This movie had many ironic moments and sarcastic comments that added a comedic effect, as well as a sardonic tone.

Though the newfound comedy is uplifting, the movie had extensive alternate storylines that took up the bulk of the movie. The film itself is about two and a half hours, most of this time feels occupied by meaningless side stories that did not tie back to main plot. Above all, Star Wars: The Last Jedi is a film all should see and experience, but make sure to go to the bathroom first.
