The National Art Honors Society will be having their annual  “Empty Bowls” fundraiser March 27. The fundraiser raises money for the FISH pantry, a local nonprofit dedicated to serving food to Knoxville communities. In this “grassroots movement to end hunger”, each participant buys a ticket that is redeemable for a bowl of soup in a handmade clay bowl. Once you finish, you get to take the bowl home! The idea is, after enjoying the soup, the bottom of the empty clay bowl will represent the empty bowl your donation helped fill. The clay bowls are designed by the FHS National Art Honors Society and local artists. The tickets can be purchased online at until March 25. The event is happening on March 27 at Einstein Bagel Bros in Turkey Creek, so make sure to get your tickets and take them there to receive your bowl.
