FHS Volleyball Team has Success at State

The Farragut High School Volleyball Team are state runner-ups! After reaching the finals of the Division 1 AAA tournament, the team lost to Brentwood High School Friday October 21, 2016. Farragut’s coach, Susan Davidson, has been acclaimed by the state as the TN Volleyball Coach of the Year. The Lady Admirals Head Coach has coached 7 years total at Farragut. When asked about her motivation for such great coaching she said, It’s all about the kids.” Coach Davidson’s comments about the seniors were nothing but positive. She said, “They are awesome, and they have had an outstanding 4 years.”

After the tournament, Alexus Parker (senior) said, “I have been looking forward to my senior year since freshman year. Now that it’s over i’m glad that it happened, but i’m ready for the next chapter.” Fellow senior Madi Howell told the FHS Anchor that she met her best friends through FHS Volleyball, and that she will cherish them forever. Both girls plan to play collegiate volleyball.
